"WILD" BILL FULTON

Drums, Percussion, Vocals

Fronting the band from behind the drum kit, Wild Bill hails from Spooner, Wisconsin. He started teaching himself to play drums at age 8, and started playing professionally at age 12. All told, Bill now finds himself in his 36th year of steady gigging as a muscician. Bill counts among his influences Lynyrd Skynyrd, ZZ Top, Molly Hatchet, Neil Peart of Rush and Mic Fleetwood of Fleetwood Mac.
Throughout the years of his career Bill has played in popular local bands such as Country Express, Colt 45, Heir Apparent, Short Circuit and Rockit. Bill even went through a brief country phase and had the opportunity to play with nationally known recording artists Dave Dudley, Marvin Rainwater and Narvel Felts. But Bill's true heart has always been classic Rock n' Roll and since Those Guys are all about Classic Rock, he is happier than a school-bus load of Kindergarteners pulling into a Chucky Cheese parking lot.

WHO ARE THOSE GUYS?

C'MON - YOU MUST KNOW THOSE GUYS!

BUT JUST IN CASE YOU DON'T - LET ME TELL YOU 'BOUT 'EM

Those Guys are 3 talented musicians who have been playing in a variety of Northern Wisconsin bands for 4 decades. When all 3 found themselves between bands the lights came on and they thought  to themselves, "what are we doing looking to play with someone else, when we can be the someone else ourselves?" All 3 shared a love of good classic rock & roll music, smokin' southern rock to jam out on, and yet still hang on to just enough country rock to keep things interesting. Throw in a few current tunes and a winning format was born. When you've been playing music as long as these  (excuse me "Those") guys, the rest just came natural-like.  A half-dozen rehearsals, book some shows, and start rocking the north country.

Nuff Said!

But Hey - Suppose we get to meet each "Guy"?

ALSO APPEARING  . . .

Reggie has been active in the Northwest Wisconsin music scene for nearly 40 years, playing in a wide variety of rock and country bands. As a fourth generation member of a musical family, his early exposure to many genres enables him to perform at ease with almost any style of popular music.

Prior to joining Those Guys, his most memorable experience was a 5 year stint with the regionally popular country-rock band Bluerock. Other noteworthy Northern Wisconsin bands he played in were The Contenders, Bottom Dollar Band, Greenstone Ridge, Randall Bruce & The Fury (w/Tate), and the popular house band The Bungalow Express. Reggie has shared the stage on shows that featured artists The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band &The Kentucky Headhunters.

Although conspicuous on guitar in Those Guys, he is equally comfortable on bass or even mandolin. Reggie also enjoys the technical aspects of engineering the sound of every performance of Those Guys. Reggie and his family live in New Auburn, Wisconsin.

TATE "TATER" EMERY

4 & 5 String Bass, Vocals

Tate picked up the 4 string bass at age 16 so he could sit in with his father and step-mother playing traditional country music. Before long Tate ventured into playing more rock n' roll and along the way started playing 5 string bass, which has become his mainstay instrument. To round out his playing he attended UW River Falls to study Jazz String Technique. Tate counts among his influences on bass Geddy Lee, Billy Sheehan, Stu Hamm, and Rudy Sarzo.

Over the years Northern Wisconsin has heard Tate play in the bands: Aurora, Rock Ridge, Malpractice, Black Diamond, Heir Apparent (w/Wild Bill), Short Circuit (also w/Wild Bill), and Randall Bruce & The Fury (w/Reggie), just to name a few. A highlight was playing with country music star Dave Dudley and the Road Runners. But like Wild Bill, he just keeps coming back to the music he enjoy playing live the most, Classic Rock.

Tate makes his home in Shell Lake, Wisconsin.
